CV Payments

There 2 types of Crowd Virtualizer payments, base and volume bonus payments. CrowdSurf base rates vary and are determined on both the length and priority of the HIT.

All regular base payments and bonuses for work performed in Crowd Visualizer are paid every Monday, Wednesday and Friday payments are credited to you Mechanical Turk account.

  • Monday payment reflect earnings from Friday through Midnight Sunday PST
  • Wednesday payments reflects earnings from Monday through Midnight Tuesday PST
  • Friday payment reflects earnings from Wednesday through Thursday Midnight PST

You may notice that your payment calculation in Crowd Virtualizer is different the on the CrowdSurf Daily Worker Feedback Spreadsheet. Our payment system is not connected to the Crowd Virtualizer system and we keep track of your payments in our separate system.

Current Bonus Offer

For the first 50 media minutes completed and approved, earn a $2.50 total bonus! This bonus applies to:

  1. FTR,
  2. FTR General Media,
  3. QC Transcript,
  4. QC Reject,
  5. Speaker ID,
  6. 3rd Pass 1

Bonus is prorated at $0.05/media minute after 50 minutes!

  • Approved media minutes will count towards the highest paying offer.
  • Tasks approved according to the Standard guidelines.
  • Bonus Payments are made on the first Monday, Wednesday and Friday after the bonus period.
  • Tasks must be submitted before weekly Bonus ends at 11:59 PM PST Sunday March 30, 2014
